Material Handler - 1st Shift


Location: Columbia, MO 65202


Hours: Mon-Thurs 6:15am - 3:15pm, Friday 6:15am - 12:15pm

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for performing material movements, both physical and systematic, to support production lines. You will support the replenishment routes from the warehouse or act as the train driver, replenish picking bins, monitor inventory and on-hands, and report any issues immediately. Additionally, you will perform cycle counts as requested, using hand counts or scale counts, and operate little train, WAVE, and forklift as needed.


Responsibilities:


  • Operate little train, WAVE, and forklift as needed.
  • Support the replenishment routes from the warehouse or act as the train driver.
  • Perform cycle counts as requested (hand counts or scale counts).
  • Replenish picking bins.
  • Perform material movements (physical and systematic) to support production lines.
  • Monitor inventory and on-hands, and report issues immediately.


Requirements:


  • Experience in materials handling.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have a solid work ethic, honoring responsibility and commitment.
  • Ability to appropriately use measuring instruments.
  • Ability to write and record.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to drive a forklift or other heavy machinery.
