Ironwear is a safety solution provider. For over 30 years we have manufactured, developed and re-engineered Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all industrial markets around the globe. We have also gone all in to help fill the void that was left in the medical community during COVID-19, doing what we can to help and expand our Infection Control and Medical Protection lineups. We are an established company and are growing.
We are seeking a Regional Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports. Account Managers also answer client questions, concerns, needs and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service, Marketing and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience. If you are familiar with account management (CRM) software, have a flair for client communication and understand consumer behavior, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Account Manager should be able to achieve business goals while keeping clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long run.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Be proactive in networking end user opportunities in an effort to close sales with a pull-through strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/ or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs with the proper internal departments
  • Forecast and track key account metrics including sales and product demand reports
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Monitor competition in order to understand current marketplace information on pricing, products and initiatives
  • Be versed in all product details, able to link and cross-reference products to customer applications
Requirements
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zendesk Sell, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • 1+ year PPE sales experience required
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and deals at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
