About the Unit:

The Outpatient Surgery Center (OSC) consists of 12 operating rooms with high-definition cameras and integration systems including video tower booms. The OSC has 12 Phase l bays and 28 comfortable recovery rooms each equipped with a private bathroom and television . Ten of the operating rooms focus on joint replacements . The unit also performs arthroscopic procedures of the knee, shoulder, and ankle, many of which are performed using the Cori and Rosa robots along with the Stryker navigation system. T wo operating rooms are dedicated to bariatric surgeries ( l aparoscopic sleeves and bypass) and general surgery using the DaVinci robot system . Previous surgical nursing experience is desired . BCLS is/will be required.

Job Summary:

The Nurse Manager has a 24-hour accountability for patient care and customer service (Service Pillar), staff leadership (People Pillar), quality improvement (Quality Pillar), financial viability (Financial Pillar), as well as strategic planning (Growth Pillar).

Requirements:

RN currently licensed in Kentucky

Bachelors of Science in Nursing Required

Masters Preferred

2-4 years recent leadership Required

BCLS Required
