Description:

Mercy Medical Center a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Occupational / Physical Therapy Aide to join our mission-driven Outpatient Rehab Team. Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for each individual that walks through our doors.
The OT/PT Aide works under the direction of the PT/OT Therapists and coordinates non-clinical activities and support functions for the Rehab team. Including preparing and assisting for routine exercises, activities and general clerical support.

Work Hours/Shift:

• 40 Hours, Days

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Exceptional Patient Care: Contributes to overall quality of care by assisting in client appointments and maintains treatment areas, identifies potential safety/mechanical concerns
• Technical Familiarity : Computer-based applications (email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office. Performs ongoing inventory of equipment and materials to ensure adequate supply
• Active Teamwork: Supports Rehab team in general clerical and support duties
• Excellent Communicator: Communicates with ancillary departments, clients and family members to ensure customer satisfaction. Demonstrates flexibility in providing adequate service to all areas

Requirements:

• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent, with general knowledge of sciences, medical terminology
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
