Rehab Services Supervisor - Occupational Therapy

Summary:

This position supervises approximately 30 acute care occupational and physical therapists who primarily serve patients within the neuro, trauma, and general surgery service lines. Work Schedule:Full Time Days

Responsibilities:
Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels. Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.

Completes performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs.

Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols.

Performs responsibilities of underlying job. Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Preferred: Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Minimum Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Required Licensure/Certification: Current State Physical Therapy license, or Colorado Occupational Therapy registration.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will need to be through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.)

The pay range for this position is: $41.43 - $62.15 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
