OCHSNER HEALTH BATON ROUGE – DEPARTMENT OF ORTHOPEDICS
Ochsner Medical Center- Baton Rouge is seeking a board-certified Orthopedic surgeon to lead as Section Head of the Orthopedics and Sports medicine program. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of previous experience in an Orthopedic practice, familiar or experienced in a group practice model. Previous leadership experience and leading in a collaborative administrative dyad model is desired. The successful candidate will lead a group of 4 Orthopedic and Sports Medicine surgeons, 4 Primary Care Sports medicine physicians and 5 Advanced Practice providers who practice at 5 sites in the Greater Baton Rouge area. The main practice sites for this position include Ochsner Baton Rouge – O’Neal and The Grove. The Orthopedics and Sports Medicine program has grown dramatically in the past 3 years & continued programmatic & specialty development and growth is desired.
