Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow in Verve Cloud’s desired characteristics according to our Mission and Values.
  • Develop and utilize forecasting models to identify equipment requirements and compile regular purchase orders.
  • Lead and support internal NLI projects as requested.
  • Execute internal port projects to ensure cost savings measures.
  • Maintain internal process documentation associated with job duties.
  • Processing SMS/10DLC number requests and triage the rejections and re-submissions.
  • Responsible for reviewing, posting, assigning, and closing out work orders for Field Nation in support of the Service Delivery and Support teams.
  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external dispatches for Service Delivery and Technical Support teams.
  • Ensure incoming shipments are properly received and delivered to appropriate departments.
  • Additional projects or duties to be assigned as needed.
  • Manage risk, resolve delays, and find alternate solutions.
  • Responsible for vendor relations related to the procurement process, this includes Project Engineering circuit orders and status, and individual vendor processes for procurement activities, contacts, etc.
  • Perform quarterly number audit and review of ported and disconnected numbers between carriers and HOMIR.
  • Perform other duties or changed duties as needed or directed.
  • Order new circuits from appropriate vendors, track status throughout the lifecycle, and escalate with the vendors as needed.
  • Maintain expertise on NLI best practices by remaining up to date on internal training and documentation.
  • Responsible for creating and managing the eFax accounts in support of Service Delivery team.
  • Assist with managing a large portfolio of projects, from ordering new circuits, to managing disconnecting those circuits.
  • Responsible for oversight of company vehicles and their maintenance.
  • Proactively manage hardware asset inventories to ensure equipment availability for installations, while minimizing financial risks due to over-stocking and obsolete equipment.
  • Submit, schedule and track circuit disconnect requests in coordination with billing.
  • Communicate and coordinate these new circuit installations with the Technical Project Coordinators and other Service Delivery Team members.
  • Perform monthly audits of phones numbers and equipment to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Oversee outgoing shipments are handled in a timely matter and meet the needs of required delivery deadlines set by the Technical Project Coordinators.
  • Submit number port requests for internal team members on behalf of clients; monitor and troubleshoot exceptions; track and coordinate port dates and schedule with Service Delivery and Support staff.
  • Assist in oversight of Shipping & Receiving, Inventory and lab rooms; ensure incoming and outgoing equipment is properly inventoried and processed.

Qualifications and Key Skills

  • Ability to understand technical configuration and setup tasks.
  • Knowledge of modern office practices and proper use of equipment, including telephone, facsimile, photocopier, computers, and technical equipment used in the execution of job duties; and must be able to effectively utilize this equipment with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to speak and be understood, and to hear conversational tone of voice, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to print or write legibly in English.
  • Ability to read written or printed materials the size of typewritten characters, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to understand and become knowledgeable of NLI’s business standards, policies & procedures to complete work in compliance with these.
  • Ability to manage equipment inventory lifecycle. Procurement, Inventory, Placement, Shipping, RMA and Disposal.
  • Experience with Web apps (e.g., ticketing system, Wiki)
  • Ability to balance workload and determine priorities. Excellent organization and time-management skills.
  • Communicate simply, effectively, and in a non-technical manner so that individuals who do not have a technical background can understand what is being discussed.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and to independently perform job responsibilities.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Proven history of developing effective inventory management policies required.
  • Telecom industry experience a plus.
  • Minimum 2+ years’ purchasing management experience.
  • Associates Degree in Business Administration or a related field and/or equivalent work experience required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS

  • Must be able to utilize personal vehicle to travel to client locations to perform required work.
  • Candidates must have a valid California driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance.
  • On occasions, may be required to travel to service Verve clients.
