Optoelectronic Device Test Engineer, Augmented Reality

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in optoelectronic device (LED, VCSELs, Lasers, detectors) or module test development.
• 6 years of experience working in a semiconductor Research and Development (R&D) or manufacturing environment, or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

• Proficiency in optical test hardware and software development.
• Experience with microLED device test, device calibration, and low noise electrical measurements for industrial or consumer products.
• Demonstrated ability in technical problem-solving, and adaptability to changing technology and priorities while keeping projects and commitments on-track.
• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in optoelectronics device test development in a R&D or manufacturing environment.
• Experience driving technical analysis of device test hardware and software issues.

About The Job
As a Optoelectronic Device Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the qualification, deployment, and ongoing support of the microLED test solutions needed to support the microLED technology roadmap. You will work closely with the test development engineers and operations team to ensure optimal test time, capability, capacity, and cost for engineering and production test plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet the device requirements for our next-generation microLED displays.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$254,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively with manufacturing, R&D, and device engineers to find test solutions and meet development and operational goals.
• Drive improvements and innovation in the microLED Test area to achieve product and test objectives for the technology.
• Develop methods and algorithms for characterizing unique device and display structures that may exhibit novel optoelectronic properties.
• Develop and improve various micro-LED device test capabilities as needed to support the innovative LED technology.
