Job Details

Our manufacturing company is seeking a Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through the use of standard test equipment, failure diagnostic testing, and test chamber operation. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to develop and execute test plans and procedures. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of test results and procedures
• Conduct failure diagnostic testing to identify and resolve product issues
• Analyze test data and provide recommendations for product improvements
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on testability and reliability
• Develop and execute test plans and procedures for new and existing products
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure product quality and reliability
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in test engineering
• Operate standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes and power converters
• Operate test chambers to simulate real-world conditions and environments

Qualifications

• Experience with standard test equipment operation, including oscilloscopes and power converters
• Ability to analyze test data and provide recommendations for product improvements
• 3+ years of experience in test experience
• Familiarity with failure diagnostic testing and test chamber operation
• Strong knowledge of electro-magnetic circuit theory
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, software engineering
• Familiarity with power converter circuit and functional characteristics (requires a good basic understanding of magnetics and discrete analog components.)
