Operations Supervisor (1St Shift)

As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our 1st shift operations. Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Provide guidance and support to team members, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the 1st shift operations team to ensure efficient and effective workflow
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping
• Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational excellence
• Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to optimize productivity and resolve operational issues
• Assist in the hiring and onboarding process of new team members

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of operational processes and procedures

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Flexibility to work 1st shift hours and occasional weekends as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in operations management or related field is a plus
• Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an operations environment
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to operations management
