High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in operations management or related field is a plus

Proficiency in using computer systems and software related to operations management

Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping

Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role within an operations environment

Strong knowledge of operational processes and procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant experience with high hazard process and process safety management

Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Oversee production outcomes, quantity and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Minimum of four years of related work experience

4+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

Interacts effectively with peers through ongoing communication and exchange of information and operates in accordance with shared warehouse management objectives.

Communicates with District Managers and store management as appropriate.

Monitors the competitive environment within the community and informs management regarding adjustments necessary to maintain the company’s competitive position.

Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their direct reports to assure mutual understanding and desired results.

Provides input and recommendations to the Warehouse Operations Manager regarding changes to improve the operation.

Monitors and manages controllable expenses; provides appropriate inventory and efficiency results and makes employee payroll adjustments as necessary.

The equivalent combination of plant operations experience and education or bachelors degree in an applicable field

Supervisory skills including the ability to implement action plans for achieving objectives, and to manage daily operations

Familiarity with maintenance management systems

Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies, procedures and guidelines.

A minimum of five years of operations experience in a coal fired power plant or similar industrial facility.

Communication and interpersonal skills to communicate expectations, coach employees, provide feedback, and work collaboratively with other departments

Strong interpersonal and human relation skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Strong ability to manage multiple tasks with confidence

College degree in a logistics related field, or three to five years relevant work experience.

Working knowledge of MS Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

The schedule will be Monday-Friday supporting standard operational hours from 7:30a-4:30p.

Operations Inventory Management (4/10, 1st Shift, TR3)

Experience with managing MRP systems

Communicates daily delivery rate needs with contacts within and outside of own team which may include customers

Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures for efficient delivery

Initiates immediate actions and clear communications in out-of-stock situations

Able to communicate blockers to meeting daily rates masterfully to operations leadership

Addresses documentation concerns with Plant management.

Communicate effectively with people in Engineering, Manufacturing, Research and Development, Logistics, Material Control, and plant management.

Bachelor’s Degree but will consider equivalent work experience.

Two years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance and/or Manufacturing or Engineering.

Assist Operations Manager on special projects as required.

Collaborate with maintenance and manufacturing management to accommodate preventive maintenance activities
