Job Overview


We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to streamline our operations across various verticals: raw material sourcing and inventory management, production, assembly, order fulfillment, and team management. The Operations Manager will have a pivotal role in our company, ensuring smooth operations, delivering on our commitment to quality, and meeting customer expectations for timely deliveries.


Key Responsibilities:


Operations Management:


• Understand our industry and business model, foresee growth needs, and implement effective change strategies.

• Collaborate with leadership on project plans for our e-commerce, event, direct-to-consumer, and wholesale channels.

• Establish and optimize budget plans to balance revenue growth and cost savings.

• Develop operational systems, processes, and reports to meet our goals related to revenue, profit, inventory, and team performance.


Supply Chain and Inventory Management:


• Manage the sourcing and procurement of raw materials, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely availability.

• Implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels for raw materials and finished goods.


Production and Assembly:


• Supervise the production process from inception to completion, ensuring timely manufacturing of products in accordance with quality standards.

• Maintain production schedules that balance production requirements with available resources and capacities.


Order Fulfillment:


• Oversee the process of order picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

• Partner with shipping carriers and vendors for timely, cost-effective deliveries.

• Resolve any shipping-related issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.


Quality Control:


• Set and enforce quality control standards and processes to ensure that all products meet our stringent quality expectations.

• Review finished products for quality before shipping and address any quality concerns with root cause determination and corrective actions.


Team Management:


• Hire, train, and manage a robust team, setting clear goals and providing regular feedback for performance enhancement.

• Foster a team culture that encourages skill development and high performance.


Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in operations management within a direct-to-consumer, e-commerce environment; jewelry industry experience is a plus.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization.

• Proficient in inventory management systems and shipping software.

• Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures.

• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
