Operations Dispatcher Jobs

We provide Solutions on Demand for movers and relocation customers by coordinating a nationwide network of service specialists and technicians to meet our customer’s special needs during a move. Our Operations Dispatcher are responsible for assigning orders to contractors who provide various services for MSS and its customers. An Operations Dispatcher sees that the services requested are properly carried out with respect to time parameters, technical procedures, customer service and pricing. The Operations Dispatcher position requires highly organized coordination, rapid response follow-up, and superior problem solving skills and creativity to satisfy both customers' needs and MSS business requirements in a high-volume work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Adjusting daily order and provider work schedule as needed in a timely manner
• Analyzing cost of services and assigning appropriate pricing as required
• Documenting and entering order information and completing all required paperwork
• Prioritizing orders and selecting approved service providers to fulfill each order
• Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with primary service specialists
• Confirming appointments and services and responding to any issues
• Researching and engaging new service providers as needed using a variety of resources
• Communicating specific order requirements with provider and scheduling service
• Updating and maintaining service provider database as changes occur

Requirement:

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential job requirements
• Relocation and mover industry experience is highly desired and valued
• Basic computer proficiency is required as are basic math skills needed to determine job costing, discounting and calculating profit margin
• High school diploma and at least two years experience in work scheduling, dispatching or high-volume customer service is required. Four year degree preferred
• Success in this position requires ability to obtain detailed knowledge of MSS services and their applications
• All candidates must be able to work Monday through Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM OR 11:00AM - 8:00 PM EST and some Saturdays (about one every five weeks)

Pay Range: $19-$22/hour
