Operations Analyst (Remote) Jobs

The Operations Analyst is a key role in the Store Operations team, providing weekly/monthly/quarterly financial analysis and reporting to various leadership teams. This role supports Full Line stores at Saks Fifth Avenue and will focus on total store payroll, productivity and financial results. Liaison with Finance and Accounting Team, External Vendors, Store Management, Merchant Team, Regional Beauty Directors and Operations. This role requires an individual with a keen eye for detail and process while maintaining flexibility in regards to the ever changing dynamic of the team and business they are supporting.

What You Will Do

• Ad hoc reporting
• System Maintenance:
• Quarterly and seasonal audits of vendor charges.
• Business Analytics:
• Updating demo and associates contracts as needed into database and systems
• Maintain department hierarchy
• Field accounting questions and reconciliation of month end/quarter end financial reports.
• Support and maintain systems and data as needed.
• Hours Usage
• Provide reporting to various teams in regards to:
• Financial:
• Weekly/Monthly Payroll
• Store Productivity
• Store Workload
• Assist in payroll budget creation and monthly forecasts.
• Month-end close including accruals, journal entries, vendor payment/chargebacks, etc

What You Will Need

• Knowledge of Access, a plus
• Knowledge of Essbase, Hyperion, Oracle, a plus
• Knowledge of fashion retail, a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or similar
• 2 years finance/FP&A background
• Excellency in Excel
