Summary of Job Duties:

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year of supervisory experience
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- At least three years of progressively responsible experience in recruitment, student outreach, or student services in a higher education setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience successfully working with people from diverse cultures
- Experience working with transfer, graduate, adult, and/or non-traditional students
- Experience working at the University of Arkansas
- Project management experience
- Experience supervising staff who travel frequently or are distributed across multiple locations
- Experience planning and implementing effective higher education marketing and recruitment strategies utilizing best practices, research and data analysis
- Experience traveling on behalf of an institution including travel planning, budgeting, and reconciliation
- Experience in an online higher education environment
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail
- Knowledge of student recruitment and retention practices and principles
- Ability to develop effective technical tools for supporting recruitment activities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to travel throughout the State of Arkansas and beyond as needed for recruitment purposes
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects, including prioritizing competing demands
- Ability to manage all aspects of complex programs and events
- Outstanding organizational, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain the strictest level of confidentiality
- Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public
- Strong decision-making and organizational skills delivered from a client-centered perspective
