Job Description
Office Manager We are seeking an experienced and passionate Office Manager to join our team! As an Office Manager, your main responsibility will be to support our Director in departmental planning and monitoring progress. In collaboration with the director, this position is designed to provide staff additional support while ensuring that standards and regulations are upheld and adhered to. Title: Office Manager Schedule: Monday - Friday (Flexible between 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM) Pay rate: $18.00 per hour Role Responsibilities: Identifies, schedules, and assists in interviewing teacher candidates; Builds networks of future external talent. Conducts classroom observations and evaluations and provides feedback that motivates and encourages learning. Assists to manages a team to ensure the curriculum is executed Uses a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop for the future Listens objectively to employee concerns and plans a recommended course of action Builds and communicates weekly schedules Assist with the daily management of classroom ratios Assist in managing new hire paperwork and all employee files in compliance with state licensing regulations Builds and communicates center schedules to ensure appropriate ratios are always intact and labor is effectively managed to budget. Leads tours with prospective families, highlighting key features and points of difference in our curriculum, teacher tenure/quality, etc. Regularly communicates with families regarding student progress Regularly audits and maintains all records and files for students and teachers Ensures the physical environment and health/safety standards are in full compliance with local and state licensing regulations Manages relationships with state licensors and conducts center evaluations Responsible for accident/incident reporting Medication management Conducts monthly emergency safety drills Manages new customer administration and files in compliance with state licensing regulations Qualifications: Two or more years of center assistant leadership/management experience is highly preferred. At least one year of center assistant leadership/management experience is required. Must have professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children. Bachelor's degree in ECE or a related field is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations. CPR and First Aid Certifications are highly preferred.
