Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:The Document Management Technician's work involves technical experience in areas of data management, electronic document retrieval, interpretation of Missouri Secretary of State Retention Requirements, indexing, and creation of digital databases. This position requires skilled work and detailed specialized knowledge of archives and Missouri Secretary of State Retention Requirements with limited supervision. This position works under the direct supervision of the the Deputy City Clerk.
CLOSING DATE: Until Filled
WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

Minimum Experience, Education And Training Required
A High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Minimum of three (3) years as an Archivist or experience in document management, computer technology, law or related area and capability to work with the public is required.
Prefered Experience, Education, And Training
Associate degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Miscellaneous Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be highly engaged in the department's goals, and be able to work cooperatively with City Clerk/Municipal Court leadership in achieving those goals.
Must properly follow all provisions of the City of Branson and the City Clerk/Municipal Court Department policies and procedures.
Must possess a high degree of integrity, strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must demonstrate excellent customer service to the department's internal and external customers.
Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position
Must act safely and follow safety standards while at work.
Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug and alcohol screenings.
