Job Description

SintelSat, based in New York, with customers in NATO Countries, US Military Bases worldwide, United Nations and similar missions, is looking for an Occupational Health Program Manager with a degree in health administration and 5+ years relevant experience in program management tasks in a US medical facility, for work location in Asia Pacific countries on a multi-year contract basis. Duty location is Japan. Some travel within Asia Pacific may be required.

Responsibilities

The Occupational Health and Wellness Program Coordinator provides managerial assistance to Occupational Health and Well-Being (OHWB) Services team and manage a Government Contract to fulfill the requirements and provide status updates, reports and necessary data from the field location, manage a small team of Physician and Technician and make sure the team is fulfilling their required duties. Manage the workforce schedule and any replacement/ additions required if the team is short staffed or unforeseen absences. Communicate with the customer on regular basis and plan workforce schedule or additional location support if required, Maintain a basic occupational health supplies inventory for the team.


Assist in support for occupational health services Contract to help advance the health and safety and manage the workforce that would perform administrative work related to work injury evaluation, acute illness management, fitness-for-duty and functional assessments, return-to-work evaluations, preplacement physicals, foreign travel examinations and medical surveillance.


Qualifications

Applicant must have a degree in the Program Management field and relevant experience in Health Administration Relevant experience includes experience as a Program manager in managing Government Contracting in US health care or similar setting with responsibility over a range of managing tasks (i.e. managing contract, customer communication, reports & schedules, workforce issues, scheduling etc.) and oversight.
