Nutritionist Jobs

Cancer Specialists of North Florida is recruiting for an experienced Nutritionist for our busy Specialty Practice. The Nutritionist is responsible for assessing a patient’s nutritional status. Will provide education to patients and providers to improve, maintain or optimize nutritional status. Has a working knowledge of oncology principles, the ability to manage a patient’s diet through their chemotherapy and assist with the side effects. Assessment and interventions are recorded in the electronic medical records system preferably OncoEMR. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Provide nutritional advice of side effects to patients for vomiting, weight loss, diarrhea, and chemotherapy.
• Provide nutritional training to patients and family members.
• Create Marketing materials for distribution to patients and providers.
• Develop and create a Podcast
• Provide nutritional training to providers.

Full-time position, 32 hours per week

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Nutrition or related field.
• 3 years of experience in the field and at least 1 year in Oncology preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Registered Nutritionist in the State of Florida

Compensation and Benefits:
