Nurse Practitioner, Infant Toddler Surgical Floor, Inpatient (36 Hrs)

Job Summary
This Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:

• Coordinating timely discharge planning, consultations and participating in patient/family education in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Clinical leadership, assessment and collaborative management of inpatient surgical patients. Includes: interpretation of diagnostic tests, performance of therapeutic procedures, quality improvement initiatives and clinical research activities.
• Working 36 hours per week, day/night rotation and rotating weekends and holidays.

To qualify, you must have:

• Excellent organizational and communication skills and computer skills required.
• A Master of Science in Nursing and certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
• MA licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
• 1-3 years of current Pediatric Nurse Practitioner experience. Will consider newer NPs with at least 2 years of acute care pediatric RN experience.

**Sign-on bonus of $4,500.00 for NP hires working 36 hours per week (who have not worked at BCH in the past 2 years.)
