HCT has an urgent need for an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Nurse Manager of Behavioral Health at a 40-bed behavioral health hospital in Arizona. The Nurse Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Improving staffing, productivity, team building, and employee engagement,
• Sharing deep knowledge and leadership experience to improve department culture and engage the staff with the goal of offering patient-centered and cost-effective care.
• Working with providers, regulatory agencies, and mental health community groups to improve access and treatment for patients within the community, and
• Collaborating with staff and physicians to implement and maintain consistently high-quality care reflecting up-to-date procedures,
• Day-to-day operations of the behavioral health department,

Reports To: Chief Nursing Officer
Requirements:

• License: Current Arizona RN Compact License required
• Computer Skills: Working knowledge of clinical information systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Certifications: Any pertinent certifications such as BLS, CPI preferred
• Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of leadership experience in a hospital setting focused on behavioral health; ability to work independently; ability to engage the staff; skilled in communications to interact in a compassionate and appropriate manner with patients and their families.

All expenses are covered while on assignment including housing, airfare, transportation, meal allowance and trips home during the assignment.

Pay Range: $157,000 - $165,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and location.
