Job Description
Department Overview:
The Connected Care Center (C3) is an innovative call center for both new and established OHSU patients to ensure patient needs are met in a timely fashion with regard, appointments, referrals, triage and advice, resources, etc. Beginning in September, Phase 1 of this new program will include the following departments: Ambulatory, Urology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, and GI. In Urology, Neurology and GI, there are subspecialties within each, so the patient population is diverse. The Neurosurgery population is primarily post-op up to 6 weeks after surgery.

Each year there will be Phases and Clinics will be added to the C3 family. If you want to help build out this foundational work, we would like to hear from you!
Function/Duties of Position:
Hiring Bonus and Relocation Package Available

The RN Manager II will be responsible for operational, quality, RN’s, financial, strategic and clinical management of the C3 practice environment. This individual will build cooperative dyad relationships with faculty partners and other leaders on C3, OHSU and in the community. You will work cooperatively and supportively with all staff and interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient satisfaction, quality, and safe care is provided to all community members seeking C3 services. You will maintain clinical competency in relevant ambulatory practice skills to provide occasional nursing coverage to support daily operations. You will participate in projects and improvement initiatives in alignment with the OHSU Tier one priorities and Strategic Plan.

  • Visible, important role in the Connected Care Center Leadership Team to establish goals, priorities and performance standards for RNs.

  • This is a hybrid position with the opportunity to work from home and on-site. Hours may be flexed according to the needs of the department.

Required Qualifications:
  • AHA BLS
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with starting a relevant master’s program in 2 years and completed within 5 years of hire.
  • A strong and reliable internet and a private, secure and quiet home office is a requirement.
  • 5 years of clinical experience, 2 years of direct patient customer service, and 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Unencumbered RN license in the state of Oregon
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience managing clinic or call center work flows.
  • National Certification with achievement of NE-BC within 3 years of hire
  • Active member of a National Nursing Professional Organization
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
