Job Description

RocketCyber is currently looking for a full-stack developer with 4 plus years of professional experience. A full stack developer is responsible for all aspects of the design and architecture of a website or web application. This includes front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as server-side technologies like databases and API integrations. The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded set of technical capabilities and a growing passion for the next wave of emerging trends in technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES / WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Ensuring cross-platform optimization for browsers and mobile devices
  • Developing front-end website architecture
  • Staying abreast of new and emerging technologies
  • Working alongside designers (creative) and user experience architects to optimize user experience
  • Working with quality control teams to ensure all solution requirements are met
  • Designing and/or implementing APIs
  • Seeing the project through from estimating to design, development, and delivery
  • Developing back-end website applications and micro services
  • Working with project managers to ensure on-time and on-budget deliverables
  • Creating servers and databases for functionality
  • Designing user interactions on webpages
REQUIREMENTS / WHO YOU ARE
  • Strong organizational and task management skills
  • Experience developing desktop and mobile web applications
  • Familiar with Python, Ruby on Rails, server-side languages
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with common stacks
  • Proficiency with Node.js, Socket.io, Express.js, React
  • Proficient with code repositories CI/CD processes
  • Team-first approach to learning and sharing knowledge
  • Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages and libraries such as: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON
  • A desire to learn new technologies and implement them appropriately
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills
  • Proficient with Postgress databases
