You will be a part of shaping the future of sport, understanding retail stores concepts and digital experiences for the consumer all while helping to create a world class environment for retail field teams across the globe.

What you'll experience:

As a Global Store Intern, you will be a part of how Nike comes to life in stores and marketplaces at scale around the world. You'll be supporting the Nike Stores team on the future of retail at Nike. You'll have the opportunity to work cross functionally with a variety of teams such as, global store operations, services design, concept design, training and development, business operations/project management and store development teams to guide our strategic roadmap and ensure the success of the future of retail.

• Conduct research and analysis on different global markets, identifying trends, customer preferences, and competition. Provide insights that give informed decision-making for store expansion and improvements
• Work closely with the retail team to brainstorm and implement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction. Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation
• Identify opportunities to streamline store processes, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards
• Support the implementation of store-related projects, such as store openings, renovations, and promotional campaigns. Assist in coordinating project timelines, resources, and deliverables
• Collect and analyze sales data, foot traffic patterns, and other key performance indicators. Assist in generating reports and presenting findings to support strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with various departments such as marketing, supply chain, and finance to support store initiatives while working with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and apply data-driven solutions to real-world challenges

What you will bring:

Qualifications:

• Experience in the retail industry preferred
• Has up-to-date and strong understanding of competitive and creative retail landscape
• Understanding of retail store systems and equipment preferred
• Background or knowledge of business and operations retail savvy
• Enrolled in a MBA program or another Advanced Degree Program with an expected graduation date of December 2024 or Spring 2025

Skills:

• Ability to work in global environment with a strong understanding of culture nuances
• Abilities in E2E Consumer experience/insights, design thinking, marketing, brand work preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and open to learning new tools/ techniques
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of personalities with sometimes a high level of ambiguity
