News Editor Jobs

As the News Editor, you’ll lead special projects under the Managing or Lead Editor’s guidance, editing and publishing highly compelling content for all our brands. You’ll own the special projects team’s workflow.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Edit several pieces of content at a time.
• Work with SEO content to ensure search-driven stories.
• Manage content-based projects aimed at improving the consumer experience.
• Your work will be critical in hitting target content quotas, ensuring each finalized article meets Money Group’s editorial standards.
• Among other responsibilities related to the role.
• Oversee the publication of editorial content.
• Own quality control of the data entry to ensure the accuracy & quality of data.
• Collaborate with members of the editorial team to achieve weekly & monthly goals.

Requirements:

• Minimum three years of experience writing and editing, preferably for online publications.
• Experience with SEO.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Writing, English, or Arts from an accredited university.

What We Offer

This is a full-time position and is eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and paid leave, among other benefits.

This job's annual base salary range is $75,000 - $85,000.

The base salary range listed above represents the minimum and maximum pay for this position at the time of this posting. In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible for a quarterly discretionary bonus based on the variable compensation program established by the company. The final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s professional and academic knowledge and experience, training, and associated responsibilities of the role.
