Network Engineer Jobs

(IP Routing and Switching)We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our Network Operations team in Goleta. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IP routing and switching and an interest in pursuing a career in advanced IP/WAN engineering at the enterprise and carrier level.
Compensation
$75,000 - $105,000 yearly
Responsibilities:Monitor and troubleshoot Impulse managed customer network equipment as per SLAInstall, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Impulse Central Offices, Data Centers, Points of Presence, and HQ infrastructureTroubleshoot network and voice application issuesSchedule and administer customer router upgradesPerform facilities maintenance and securityAssist the implementation team with customer equipment configuration before installationAct as an escalation point as necessaryParticipate in an after-hours on-call rotationQualifications:At least three years of experience configuring and managing Cisco/Juniper/Adtran routers and switches or equivalent from the command lineStrong knowledge of LAN, WAN, Routers, Switches, and other network hardwareFunctional knowledge of IP routing and switching including VLAN configuration, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, BGPExperience with Firewall technologies (Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, or Fortigate)SASE/SD-WAN skills preferredNetwork Automation skills preferred: Python, Ansible, NapalmExperience with L2VPN/L3VPN technologies (LDP/MPLS/EVPN/VXLAN, etc.)Knowledge of LAN technologies (802.1Q, QoS)Basic knowledge of VOIP technologiesCCNA Required / CCNP-CCIE PreferredAbout Company
