Network Engineer (Hybrid) Jobs

A healthcare organization in New Jersey is actively seeking an experienced IT professional to join their staff as their new Network Engineer. In this role, the Network Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing, and managing Infoblox DDI solutions, and working on associated projects including ISE etc.

• This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***

Responsibilities

The Network Engineer will:

• Maintain an elevated level of competence in the capabilities, applicability, configuration, sizing, and operation of the DDI solutions we propose to customers
• Provide an advisory role with the client on the impact of new technologies on their existing technical and network environment
• Design and architect DDI solutions which meet specific customer needs using infoblox
• Perform other duties, as needed
• Perform pre-migration testing and implementation process validation
• Capture business capability requirements, functional requirements, and expected service levels from customers to create an actionable IT-Networking roadmap
• Provide overall design guidelines for DDI integration, performance, reliability, operating, and innovation
• Understand the technical needs of customers and tailoring implementation plans and strategies to meet those needs
• Support customers in the creation of project business cases (e.g., success criteria)

Qualifications

• Scripting experience in Python, Perl and/or bash
• Great interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated knowledge in Azure and AWS
• Knowledge of switches, routers, load balancers and firewalls and their interactions with DDI
• Proven experience planning and executing migrations to or from any of the various DDI OEM platforms
• Strong concepts in subnetting and IP management
• Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
• Expert understanding of Network Services, DNS, DHCP, ISC BIND, NTP and TCP/IP
• Highly organized
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience deploying/managing DNS/DHCP/IPAM in a corporate enterprise environment
• 5+ years of Design, Build, and Migration experience of complex DDI systems in enterprise environments
