Description Multi-Media Sales Representative Durango, CO, USA Ballantine Communications, a family oriented business, serves our communities by providing relevant information, building knowledge and supporting economic vitality. We are seeking an energetic, sales driven individual looking for a career in media sales. Media is exciting and the sky's the limit industry and Ballantine Communication is growing exponentially. As a multimedia sales representative, you will be responsible for helping small to medium businesses reach their goals. Other responsibilities include prospecting, conducting needs assessments, creating and presenting proposals, and servicing accounts. This role will contact key decision-makers and businesses, meet with them to understand their marketing needs, and develop proposals that focus on digital and print marketing solutions to help them grow their businesses.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Follow up on pipeline prospect and callbacks
• Ability to recommend products and services that best fit customers needs
• Other duties as assigned
• Coordinate with graphic team to produce thoughtful and creative ads that catch the attention of clients target market
• Prospect a full list of past advertising clients to call, offering win-back opportunities
• Effectively communicate appropriate rebuttals to all sales objections
• Build rapport and cold call new prospects
• Utilize email correspondence, client testimonials, and market statistics to build interest

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong customer service skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace and the ability to learn new software applications quickly
• Proven ability to establish/maintain interpersonal relationships
• Strong problem solving and decision making abilities
• Work exceptionally well in a team environment
• Highly motivated and results-oriented
• Candidates must have personal transportation
• Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment
• Digital, Print or Media advertising sales experience is a plus.
• Ability to self-generate leads
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Training and Education:

• Preferably, 1 to3 years of proven outside sales experience and, ideally, in the capacity of media sales
• Associates degree or equivalent experience

Pay: $15 -$17 per hour + commission

Work Location: One location
