Harley-Davidson of Tampa, FL is looking to hire a Sales Manager, to manage Sales Team members and operations of the New and Used Vehicle Sales Department. We value our employees and invest in their success.

Major Duties and Responsibilities – Sales Manager:
  • Ensure sales department contributes acceptable levels of gross and net profit.
  • Maintain showroom with a variety of vehicles set-up with different accessories and paint schemes, displayed in a well-lighted environment which draws Guests.
  • Greet Guests immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Handle Guests complaints reasonably using H.E.A.T., showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to “Make Things Right”. HEAT+1
  • Attend training sessions to keep current with sales department issues.
  • Ensure Sales Team Members send video of bike (bike’s) of interest via. VinsApp.
  • Handle telephone transactions quickly, and courteously.
  • Provide monthly Sales training calendar
  • Manage Social Media, creating and posting content to promote sales and fun happenings within the shop – have fun with it!
  • Oversee and manage all operations of new and pre-owned vehicles.
  • Perform F&I Back-Up as required/needed
  • Maintain CRM Daily & close out showroom visits accordingly.
  • Oversee sales floor operations,100% Manager “ TO ” to 100% of Guests, 100% of the time, followed by CRM entries by Management.
  • Maintain 100% accountability of all vehicles (Inventory) daily.
  • Ensure Guests are properly qualified for needs, wants, and ability to buy.
  • Ensure sales personnel are current on the latest Department Training on H-Dnet.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and terminating Team Members.
  • Maintain clean efficient facilities.
  • Establish departmental work schedule, balancing the work load of all Team Members.
Service to Sales Prospects:
  • Work with Service Manager to review Daily Service Appointments for New Vehicle Sales opportunities and or Demo Rides.
  • Meet Guest by name in Drive for appointment.
  • Include daily Service Opportunities on DIT sheet and log properly in CRM.
  • Provide “Trade Now” appraisals for presentation to guest at time of service pick up with MotoMate tool.
Riding Academy Conversions:
  • Attain Weekly Student class list from Riding Academy Manager, ensure all students are in CRM system.
  • Ensure Store Tour is personable and inviting to Students, some students may be here for the first time.
  • Make introduction contact with a word of Thanks for registering. Ensure CRM follow up schedule is worked and completed for pre and post buckets.
Commitments, Qualifications & Job Requirements – Sales Manager:
  • Focus on quality.
  • Be prompt and available for flexible scheduling.

  • Must have a valid US government issued Driver's License with motorcycle endorsement, safe driving record and eligible to work in the United States.
  • Prefer knowledge and experience with sales of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.
  • Remain current with all sales department training available by reviewing the H-D Training Portal on H-Dnet.
  • Occasionally requires the ability to balance and push a 650 lb. motorcycle.
  • 3 years preferred of progressive experience within the sales department of a motor vehicle dealership.
  • Treat all Team Members and Guests fairly, courteously, and with dignity.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.
  • Be honest and fair in all business dealings
