Mern Developer / Full Stack

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead MERN Developer to join our dynamic startup team. As the Lead MERN Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of our cutting-edge web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js). This is a unique opportunity where your monthly compensation will be equity-based, providing you with the opportunity to grow and succeed alongside our company. To sweeten the deal, we are offering a signing bonus of $2000 for the successful candidate. Please note that we are looking for candidates based in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
• Lead and manage a team of developers in the design, development, and deployment of MERN-based web applications.
• Architect, develop and implement robust and scalable solutions using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in MERN stack technologies and bring new ideas to the team.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of web applications.
• Set coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality code and maintainable solutions.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and motivate a development team, fostering collaboration and productivity.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
• Proven experience as a Lead Developer or similar role, with a focus on MERN stack development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating backend services with front-end applications.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
• Strong proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js, with a deep understanding of their individual components and ecosystem.
