Mental Health Therapist Full Time 4 Day Work Week - New York (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Provide ongoing individual therapy through video-based telehealth sessions to adolescents and young adults.
• Attend weekly consultation meetings, monthly psychiatry consultations, and monthly individual supervision.
• Participate in training on our evidence-based care pathways and deliver these services after receiving training.
• Willingness to be cross-licensed by Vita in at least three additional states and provide services to patients in those states as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Schedule

• This role requires working evenings, with shifts that include both 9am-7pm and 10am-8pm. You will have a consistent, ongoing schedule.
• This is a fully remote role with a 4-day work schedule.
• Working Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday is required. You choose the fourth day you work, Thursday or Friday.
• Initially, you will be asked to provide 34 available clinical hours but only 30 will be filled. This will enable our care coordination team to meet patient scheduling needs.
• 23 of your 30 clinical hours need to be within 2-8pm, which is our peak demand for services.
• This role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with around 10-hour work shifts.
• Your 40 hours comprise 30 clinical hours, 4 hours towards lunch, and 6 non-clinical hours (to attend meetings and complete clinical documentation).

Qualifications

• Be comfortable to work from home with reliable internet connection and must have privacy to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
• Advanced proficiency using a computer and navigating technology (Google suite, EHRs).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience providing telehealth therapy to adolescents and young adults.
• Must hold an advanced degree of MA in Social Work, Counseling, or other Behavioral Science.
• Must hold active New York state licensure as an LMFT, or LCSW.
• Familiar with evidence-based practices.
• Willingness to participate in training in our evidenced based frameworks for treatment, which we call our care pathways.

Compensation: $68k - $87k, based on years of experience and other credentials.
