Job Title: Mental Health Psychologist
Location: REMOTE(25% Travel when needed)
Salary: Depends on Experience
Job Summary:
PCG Consulting is seeking a licensed mental health psychologist to provide counseling, assessment, and treatment services to individuals and groups with various mental health conditions. The Mental Health Psychologist will work collaboratively with other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a strong background in psychology, and a compassionate attitude towards patients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain treatment plans for patients, including regular progress reports, to ensure optimal care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Conduct psychological assessments to diagnose and evaluate mental health conditions.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to assess and treat mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and bipolar disorder.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in emergency situations.
- Create and implement treatment plans tailored to meet the individual needs of patients.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay abreast of new research and treatment methods.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines.
Requirements:
- Ability to work collaboratively with other mental health professionals.
- Licensed to practice as a psychologist in the state of employment.
- Doctoral degree in Psychology or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of various mental health conditions, diagnostic criteria, and evidence-based treatment methods
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
