Job Description

We're seeking a talented Medical Writer to join our team! As the Medical Writing Content Expert, you'll work closely with clinical investigators, epidemiologists, and statisticians in the fields of rheumatology, dermatology, and other inflammatory diseases to develop publications based on information from epidemiology research reports. These publications will include abstracts, posters, slide presentations, and peer-reviewed manuscripts for medical journals.
As our Medical Writer, you'll be responsible for all aspects of publication timelines, including tracking project progress, preparing and submitting publications to conference and journal websites, and maintaining an up-to-date database of company publications. You'll work directly with study teams and subject matter experts to formulate writing approaches that accurately reflect the data in reports and present them in a manner consistent with target audiences.
In this role, you'll also develop and maintain processes and procedures to streamline publication submission processes, ensuring that deliverables to clients are on-time, accurate, and of high-quality. You'll maintain the CorEvitas publication database and provide internal and external updates on recent publications on a timely basis.
The ideal candidate will have a Master’s or Doctoral degree in life sciences and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a research or medical setting. You'll also possess strong English communication and writing skills and knowledge of medical terminology, clinical epidemiology, and statistics, including the ability to convey clinical data in a clear, concise manner and a commitment to scientific accuracy.
We're looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. You'll have a strong overall computer skills including proficiency with MS Office: Word, PowerPoint & Excel. Familiarity with reference software such as EndNote, Reference Manager, and Mendeley is desired but not required, as well as familiarity with graphics programs for the preparation of posters and manuscripts.
