Salary Range: 16.50 - 21.39 Hourly


This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At One Call, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 16.50 - 21.39 Hourly

The Medical Records Coordinator retrieves medical reports by computer, via fax request and/or by contacting the provider directly. The Coordinator responds to telephone inquiries and perform other customer service duties. The Coordinator posts medical report information to appropriate patient file and updates the One Call Care Management’s computer system with corrections or additions.


General Duties & Responsibilities


  • Contacts provider on delinquent medical reports and resolve.
  • Informs appropriate departments regarding provider servicing concerns.
  • Verifies the accuracy of reports and posts to appropriate patient files on a daily basis.
  • Answers telephones as needed and respond to customer inquiries and document actions taken.
  • Distributes incoming faxes processed through fax server.
  • Performs general duties as assigned.


Educational Requirements


High school diploma or G.E.D. required. One (1) to three (3) months of related work experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or work experience.


General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


  • If working with federal government contract clients, an employee is required to receive federal government clearance for handling sensitive information. Employee is also required to receive annual security awareness training.
  • Must have the ability to work after hours and weekends if necessary.
  • Must have strong telephone skills and ability to communicate with others in a professional environment.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must have strong organizational skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to work any shift that may be required to provide adequate telephone coverage.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short, simple correspondence, and memos.
  • Must be computer literate and be knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
