Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Receptionist at MICHAEL A. VENAZIO M.D. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for greeting patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, tests and procedures, obtaining prior authorizations, sending and obtaining medical records, maintaining patient records, verifying insurance information, and performing other receptionist duties. You will work closely with the medical staff to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Proficiency in Medical Terminology and knowledge of medical office procedures
• Experience in Receptionist Duties, preferably in a medical office setting
• Strong Appointment Scheduling and Phone Etiquette skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is a plus.
