Medical Receptionist needed for a leading dermatology office in Florida

Pay Rate: $18-20.00 per hour

Location: Onsite in Englewood/Venice, FL **must have the ability to commute to either location

Employment Type: Contract-to-hire + Client benefits after conversion

Schedule: Full-time, MF 8am-5pm (No patients on Fridays)

• Must be able to undergo a criminal background check and 10-panel drug test
• In compliance with the Department of Health and vaccine mandates, COVID-19 vaccination&proof of vaccine, as well as all standard immunizations listed below will be required.**

Well, our client believes in taking the time to educate and be very intentional with their patients about their care so they can make informed, confident decisions about their dermatological health. Their expert practitioners and caring staff specialize in all aspects of dermatological care, including preventative measures, cosmetic procedures, and surgery, including Mohs Micrographic Surgery. Wow, what a team!

As the Medical Receptionist, you'll be responsible for maintaining a friendly, warm, and inviting environment at the front desk/patient check-in area. You will polite, attentive, and organized. Additionally, they should be able to effectively communicate with patients and assist them in any way possible.

Here's What You'll Be Responsible For.

• Able to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance.
• Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.
• Call and remind patients of upcoming appointments.
• Collect monies, process end of day reports.
• Provide patients with new patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents.
• Answer multi line phone and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller’s needs.
• Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information and any other necessary data.
• Scan paperwork into patient’s file.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum experience of 1+ year working in an outpatient clinic setting Dermatology office experience a plus Minimum of 2+ years in customer service
