Medical Procedure Coordinator Jobs

Southeast Texas HR, a leader in recruiting and HR services, is seeking a Medical Procedure Coordinator for a hospital and healthcare client. As a Medical Procedure Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating medical procedures for patients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced and challenging environment. You will be a crucial part of the patient care team, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of medical procedures. This is a day position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other members of the patient care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
• Assist with the preparation of procedural areas, ensuring they are clean and properly equipped
• Communicate with patients, their families, and medical staff to ensure all parties are informed about the procedure and any necessary preparation
• Coordinate medical procedures for patients, including scheduling and arranging necessary resources such as equipment, staff, and supplies
• Monitor and report any issues or concerns related to the procedure or patient care
• Maintain accurate records of all procedures, including patient and billing information
• Ensure that procedures are performed in a timely manner and that the patient's needs are met throughout the process

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivilent
• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a coordinating role
• Understanding of patient care and safety protocols
• Ability to obtain all immunization records
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
• 2 or more years of insurance verification experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
