Medical Education Program Specialist

As our Medical Education Program Specialist for our Structural Heart Disease team, you will be responsible for the development, facilitation, execution, documentation, and monitoring of SHD medical training and educational programs (in-person, virtual, and on-demand asynchronous) as part of a clearly defined, persona-based, blended clinical learning pathway. You will also develop customized programs for targeted in-service (on-site) programs throughout the United States and coordinate hands-on training for budgeted society meetings/ industry conferences which create opportunities to meaningfully educate and impact the practice of participants.

  • In collaboration with the Director of training and education, you will help to expand the network of KOLS and COES needed to allow for adequate training and education of a rapidly growing business, building solutions to measuring outcomes (metrics), and innovating delivery methods to ensure we meet the needs of our customers in an efficient and effective way.
  • You will collaborate with all functions of the business unit (Marketing, Sales, R&D, L&R) to develop an agile program strategy aligned with business priorities and strategic imperatives to Enhance efficiency and effectiveness, display new domain excellence, leverage collaboration, develop and document strong Metrics, deliver transformational innovation, and work with global scalability.

You're the right fit if you have:

  • Structural Cardiac Cath lab experience - SHD procedural experience & knowledge (LAAO, PFO/ASD, TEER, TM/TVR)
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS/BSN) required, Masters Degree preferred (MHSc, MSN, MS, M.Ed,)
  • Experience in the device industry and working with Physicians preferred (communication, contracting, co-creation of content, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills- communicates in a manner that is clear and concise- adapts style to audience.
  • Strong organizational skills, detailed oriented, high communication skills- exhibit business intelligence as well as executive presence
  • TEE or ICE imaging experience is highly preferred. Image interpretation skills are critical to success and image acquisition/optimization is preferred.
  • Underpinned strategic vision with detailed development project plans with milestones and progress reports.
  • You have a history of demonstrating strategic program management skills and have end-to-end organized training events with measurable results.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $95,000-$162,000, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
