The Associate Product Specialist, STEM is a meaningful role in the sales organization that focuses on supporting and enabling the sales team to more efficiently position and sell Amplify solutions.
The position will provide support to the product specialist and sales team across two primary areas: assisting product specialists as they support strategic customer and prospect meetings by communicating Amplify solutions with the sales team as a product guide, and (2) providing support to product specialists in developing sales support materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with Sales Enablement to build competitive Math/Desmos content for the sales team.
  • Successfully troubleshoot and problem-solve as necessary
  • Support Training and Enablement with Product and RFS sessions
  • Participate in Amplify Professional Development training and build knowledge as an Amplify branded trainer and presenter
  • Support and assist with product training to members of Sales team
  • Work independently and efficiently collaborate across teams
  • Present Amplify core and supplemental STEM solutions to administrators and teacher committee teams
  • Apply outstanding communication skills for information gathering, knowledge transfer, giving feedback and receiving feedback
  • Collaborate with STEM Pilot manager to provide outstanding experience for Desmos users
  • Work in partnership with product specialist staff to support and develop active sales opportunities, collaborating with educators through the curriculum review process
  • Assist in development of sales support materials to reflect the best positioning and messaging of Amplify programs
  • Maintain knowledge and expertise in K-12 educational and STEM trends
Basic Qualifications:
  • K-8 classroom teaching experience
  • Presentation experience, preferably as a conference speaker or professional development
  • Expertise in NGSS and Problem-based learning
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years experience in K-12 education
  • Ability to travel (10-20%)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of Amplify’s products
  • Experience crafting and delivering a short multimedia presentation
  • Understanding of the educational marketplace, and industry trends.
  • Expertise with remote meeting platforms
  • Previous experience servicing the education market
  • Social Media Presence and awareness – attracting followers and promoting events
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
What we offer: Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, incentive stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $92k - $97k. This role is eligible for commissions based pay.
