Healthy Brain Clinic is hiring a Medical Assistant in Long Beach, CA, in partnership with Irvine Clinical Research. In both clinical care and research studies, the medical assistant will support to our team of doctors and researchers.

Job Duties

• Provide clerical and administrative support
• Warmly greet and assist patients at the front and back office
• Process laboratory samples accurately
• Assist with EKGs, vital signs, and other procedures as needed
• Perform blood draws (venipuncture) safely and effectively
• Data entry for research studies

Job Requirements

• Excellent communication and social skills in spoken and written English
• Experience and skill in phlebotomy
• Prefer bilingual in Spanish
• Prefer experience with reconstituting and preparing IV medication
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks with precision

Hours and Compensation

This is a full-time employment position based in-person in Long Beach, CA.

The starting compensation for the role is $24/hr (about $50k per year). Depending on job performance, there is a possibility for growth.

The company pays for 100% of health/dental/vision individual insurance costs for eligible full-time employees. Vacation (PTO) is earned at a rate of 3 weeks per year.
