We are currently looking for a Materials Management Coordinator at our Holly Springs, North Carolina location who will be responsible for effectively and proactively implementing techniques to ensure equipment and materials are appropriately controlled at a project site. This position is responsible for effectively and proactively implementing techniques to ensure equipment and materials are appropriately controlled at a project site. This is an entry level position. The incumbent will develop an understanding of material control processes, procedures, and tools, basic procurement principles and practices, techniques of ensuring task completion, project delivery processes, and supplier relationship expectations.

The Material Management Coordinator will have a complete understanding and experience in developing methods/plans for controlling equipment and materials at project site and/or warehousing utilizing a material management system. You’ll have good knowledge with material control processes, procedures, and tools. You will be able to maintain control of equipment and materials and warehousing at a project site and ensure proper utilization of the material management system.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • Ability to work effectively without direct supervision and interface with a variety of people representing different companies.
  • Valid North Carolina drivers license.
  • At least 5 years of material or supply management experience (warehousing / inventory control / ordering applications).
  • At least 5 years Microsoft Office Suite software experience (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work on-site in Holly Springs, NC.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
  • Passion for Supply Management and Construction Management.
  • Prior experience working on a commercial or industrial construction site.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Logistics, Supply Management or related field preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
