Our ultimate objective is to drive consumer demand, visitation and revenue goals for Walt Disney World Resort. The Marketing Strategy team achieves this goal by developing strategies and communication plans to reach and influence the consumer mindset and behavior including desire to take a Disney vacation, visit during a specific season, reach a specific consumer segment, stay in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, and purchase a ticket to Walt Disney World Theme Parks.

As a Marketing Strategy Intern, you will assist in developing strategies and managing communication plans to help deliver annual revenue and attendance goals. Important responsibilities will include supporting the Marketing Strategy Managers by building and executing integrated communication plans, evaluating campaign creative, performing consumer research, monitoring and analyzing business performance, and other key projects as assigned.

  • Creatively solving business issues through innovation of new ideas
  • Thinking critically to help develop and communicate strategies to support business objectives
  • Coordinating and managing a variety of projects aimed to increase awareness and relevancy, drive intent to visit, and accelerate conversion
  • Interpreting data to understand trends, assist in researching, analyze and provide reports
  • Collaborating with internal teams to support business needs and the development and execution of marketing strategies across the Parks and Resorts business reaching key audiences

  • Team collaboration with the ability to manage conflict to positive resolution
  • The ability to construct and present a compelling story from data analysis and consumer insight/research findings. Solid math skills and comfort working with numbers required.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset
  • Must have demonstrated initiative and personal leadership skills
  • Leading others toward a common goal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and presentation development
  • Previous Marketing Internship experience


Required Education:


  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • You’ll be an undergraduate or a recent graduate (within 6 months of your graduation date) pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business or related area


Additional Information:


  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • Must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session
  • Must be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
  • Program length - The approximate dates of this internship are January 2024 - June 2024

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Transportation - Must have reliable transportation to/from work
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • This internship is a hybrid position - Must be able to provide a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace
  • Work details - Must be able to work FULL TIME hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship
