The Marketing Strategy Professional Intern will be a part of a dynamic team where they will support and gain exposure to multiple marketing disciplines, including social media/content marketing, brand marketing and strategy, creative development, website management, sales tool management, and reporting/analytics.


A Day in the Life…


  • Assist with managing marketing reports, using Excel to input weekly data into marketing dashboard.
  • Assist with writing engaging blog posts with a focus on product and brand storytelling, with a high level of creativity and information accuracy aimed at driving brand loyalty and website traffic.
  • Own daily Facebook Messenger interactions, responding timely, with information accuracy and with professionalism.
  • Assist with content updates across marketing and sales tactics including website and digital tools.
  • Assist with designing creative social media assets following templates and style guides.
  • Source high-quality photo and video content from couples and vendors to feature on social media. Manage and organize assets which include naming assets, uploading to digital system, sourcing releases, etc.
  • Assist with the development of trends reports, content calendars, internal audits and more.
  • Assist with special projects as needed and provide general administrative support.

  • Organized and detail-oriented—Demonstrated ability to execute projects on time, ability to multi-task and work collaboratively with a team.
  • A content creator at heart—You have stellar copywriting skills, a knack for storytelling, and a talent for identifying and creating stunning visual content.


(Desired Qualifications)


  • Proficiency in social media management tools.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, Canva and/or basic video editing software.
  • Proficiency with Apple operating systems.
  • Current or prior participation in the Disney College Program, current or prior Cast Member and/or working knowledge of Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort.
  • You have a great sense of style and a natural eye for design.
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


Required Education:


  • You’ll be an undergraduate or a recent graduate (within 6 months of your graduation date) earning a degree/major in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Mass Communications, MBA related fields
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship


Additional Information:


  • Work details - Must be able to work FULL TIME hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship
  • Must be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • This internship is a hybrid position - Must be able to provide a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace
  • Program length - The approximate dates of this internship are January 2024 - June 2024
  • Must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session
