This opportunity is exclusively for students who are currently on, or who have previously participated in a Disney College Program.

The Disney Programs Communications team is responsible for the reputation and brand management of Disney Programs (Disney College Program, Culinary Program and International Program). This means telling the great stories of our Program participants and communicating details across both internal and external platforms including company websites, email and social media. This team also partners with operations teams, key stakeholders and Program and housing partners to share communication directly with Program participants.


A Day in the Life…


We are looking for someone with a passion for Disney Programs, who can speak knowledgeably about program offerings and benefits and utilize their creative expertise to support communication to, for and about our Program participants.


As a Digital Content Intern, some of your responsibilities could be…


  • Attending program and housing events, trips and offerings to capture content and highlight the full program experience.
  • Helping to tell the Disney Programs story through engaging, short and long form videos, photography and social media content
  • Staying up to date on video and social media trends and best practices
  • Supporting Program events, including arrivals and end-of-program capstone events
  • Maintain and manage digital asset libraries as well as photo/video equipment inventory
  • Collaborating with team members and partners to produce content, ensuring work adheres to brand guidelines and meets Disney’s high standards of quality
  • Brainstorming, planning and facilitating shoots, including managing schedules, communicating with talent and leading production

  • Passion for all things creative
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Literacy in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
  • Current OR previous participation in the Disney College Program
  • Experience in social media, photography and videography (production and editing)


(Preferred Qualifications)


  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in content creation/design for social media platforms


Required Education


  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree (or recent graduate) in Digital Media, Multimedia, Photography/Videography, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program, OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.

  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • This role is hybrid – Candidate must be able to provide own housing and transportation in the Orlando, FL area.
  • Approximate dates of this internship are January 2024 – June 2024
  • Must be a current participant on a Disney College Program OR an alumnus of the Program
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
