Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Marketing Specialist for our Gene Therapy CDMO business, to lead the strategic development, deployment, and maintenance of impactful marketing initiatives for our Charles River gene therapy portfolio. As a crucial member of our team, you'll create compelling content and collateral, collaborating closely with scientific and commercial teams to ensure alignment with our strategic vision.
Essential Responsibilities
Craft, develop, and maintain captivating marketing collateral to drive the growth of our portfolio, working closely with scientific and commercial teams to ensure strategic alignment.
Elevate and optimize the online experience through best practices, content development, and the use of cutting-edge marketing technology tools.
Spearhead high-performing email campaigns across various internal and external marketing channels.
Foster ongoing collaboration and feedback from business development, scientific, and technical stakeholders.
Stay at the forefront of the dynamic cell and gene therapy drug development market, identifying opportunities where Charles River can deliver unmatched value through its offerings.
Conduct competitor content analysis, providing meaningful insights to fuel new advancements in blogs, articles, and white papers.
Forge a strong partnership with the sales team to optimize conversion rates for sales qualified leads beyond the scope, domain, or function.
Develop compelling content for high-performing web pages, implementing conversion and SEO strategies, creating dedicated landing pages, and producing engaging editorial content.
Play an active role in event marketing and strategic planning for both virtual and in-person events, such as webinars, seminars, and workshops.
Maintain a professional and customer-centric image while effectively representing our business strategies on the phone, through emails, and during customer events.
Stay well-versed in all company product lines, with in-depth knowledge of the business segment you support.
Collaborate with the CDMO marketing team to continually enhance specific materials based on strategic direction.
Manage translation activities when necessary, ensuring seamless communication across diverse markets.
Job Qualifications

Proven experience in outbound marketing or similar client-facing roles.

Education, Experience, and Licensure
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) in Marketing, Business, Life Science, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
2 to 4 years of relevant experience in marketing or life science-related positions.
A robust marketing background is required.
Experience in the cell and gene therapy market is desired but not necessary. We welcome applicants with a passion for this exciting field.
Technical Skills
Thorough understanding of marketing elements, including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO, social media, etc.
Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.
Capable of handling multiple projects with proficiency in digital marketing and inbound marketing skills.
Solid computer skills, including MS Office and marketing software (CRM).
Quick adaptability to learning new software and applications.
Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $65K - $80K USD. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
