Job Description

Under the direction of the Director Communications, the Marketing Coordinator will provide administrative and project support to all members of the Department of Strategy, Marketing and Communications on all facets of MarComm strategy and implementation. This role will support the planning and execution of all multi-channel marketing and communications campaigns and will be responsible for coordination of various systems and processes, both within the Department and in cross-collaboration with other department stakeholders . This will require developing relationships with clinical and non-clinical Valleywise Health staff across departments. This role will support marketing, communications, lead generation, community outreach and business development projects with responsibilities in areas of vendor coordination, website updates, social media, multi-media, events management, advertising and brand awareness.

Hourly Salary Range: $23.08 - $34.04

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education or equivalency:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field,

Experience:

  • Requires One (1) years of relevant experience that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Previous healthcare experience is preferred.

Certification/licensure:

  • Must have exceptional interpersonal skills; be a team player, ability to communicate with diverse personalities, tactful, mature and flexible.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Requires effective verbal and written communication skills with team members and stakeholders.
  • Must be reliable, and able to complete required assignments in a timely fashion.
  • Must be innovative, highly organized, and self-motivated with a keen interest in supporting strategic initiatives with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Requires the ability to have a reliable form of transportation to travel throughout the community.
  • Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
  • Requires possession of, and ability to retain a current, valid AZ issued driver’s license in good standing, and must carry the AZ legally required minimum insurance coverage on personal vehicle at all times.
  • Must be able to effectively use Microsoft Office applications (ie Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Requires the ability to build rapport with other, and to work independently and self-manage.
  • This position requires a highly organized individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changes in a fast-paced environment.
