Overview

Are you a creative and ambitious digital marketer with a passion for the cannabis industry? We are seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team at The Good Dispensary and Toasted. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our brand strategy, manage social media channels, create engaging content, and collaborate with a character designer. This is a hands on-role where the candidate will work alongside our Marketing Manager and be responsible for the execution and management of social media, influencer marketing, email and SMS marketing, assisting with photo shoot planning, and reporting. Key Responsibilities

  • Will contribute to the marketing operations team and will work closely on campaign activation strategies across different digital mediums
  • Plan, execute, and monitor digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as social media, search engines, email marketing, and display advertising
  • Oversee paid media activations/campaigns/execution
  • Create and manage email marketing campaigns, including drafting compelling copy, designing templates, and segmenting audiences for targeted messaging
  • Source, create and manage all brand content: photos, videos, testimonials, education, data, illustrations
  • Enhance processes, content, and lead generation efforts to drive both immediate and long-term goals
  • Menu management, asset management, evaluating ad space opportunities
  • Coordinate and manage influencer relations
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and campaign results to provide actionable insights
  • Regularly track and analyze digital marketing metrics using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights
  • Act as support to help push any and all initiatives created by the Marketing Manager
  • Develop and implement the company's brand strategy to align with business objectives
  • Engage daily, manage, maintain, and organically grow all social media channels
  • Maintain and update our various website platforms
  • This position will create reports for the department as needed on various internal and external workflows and campaigns (Social channels metrics, website metrics, ad space metrics and so forth
  • Coordinate the creation of engaging and relevant content, graphics, and videos for online campaigns
  • Prepare detailed reports on campaign performance, website traffic, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize our website for search engines (SEO) and manage pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns (SEM)
  • Monitor email campaign performance, analyze results, and implement improvements based on A/B testing and industry best practices
  • Conduct keyword research, track performance metrics, and make data-driven adjustments to improve online visibility and drive organic traffic


Required skills and qualifications

  • Portfolio of work
  • Experience using data analytics software for research
  • Proven experience in marketing coordination or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Experience and knowledge in graphic design
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools for research and campaign analysis
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills


Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems (WordPress)
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience in team management: expectations & requirements
  • Belief in relationship building and working as part of a team to achieve goals/results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum 2 years of digital marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, communications, graphic design or related field
  • Self-motivated and ability to achieve objectives with little to no supervision
  • Flexibility of hours – weekends and holidays
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop), photography, Microsoft products (MS Office Suite), Digital Illustration
  • Organized, responsible and flexible in a fast-paced growth environment
  • Preferred industries: Cannabis, D2C, B2C, retail.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Strong grasp of web analytics and SEO
