Job Description


This Product Manager will play a critical role working hand-in-hand with internal and external key stakeholders to drive new product development programs. Support continuous improvement of existing product and add lasting value to the organization through new innovative technologies. The Product Manager will report to the Global Director of Product Management.


  • Undergo all formal training events as may be directed from time-to-time.
  • Create strategic product marketing plans that are in line with Sirtex strategic initiatives.
  • Expectation to travel at a frequency to support the organization.
  • Observing and complying with all Sirtex Corporate Policies.
  • Lead market research activities to identify market needs and insights to generate corresponding product solution opportunities.
  • Development and manage product and program pre-launch, launch and post-launch activities including: developing product positioning, market strategy, value propositions and key product claims and messaging. Develop collateral, sales and physician education programs and training both domestic and international marketing and sales teams.
  • Developing long-standing and productive relationships with influential key opinion leaders.
  • Represent marketing on cross functional product development teams to ensure strategic rational and requirements including financial assumptions, voice of customer, user and product requirements are aligned.
  • Collaborating with regional and global Sirtex stakeholders to successful build the business and ensure good cross-functional communication and alignment.
  • Possessing an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry in general and more specifically, the segments targeted by assigned products, including the motivators for action.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Global Director of Product Management
  • Ensuring every item released to customers complies with the local regulatory authorities and has been approved in line with the Sirtex approval process.
  • Work within, and ensure adherence to Quality System procedures, work instructions and other Quality System requirements.


Qualifications


  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a variety of audiences ranging from patients to health care professionals as well as interal company personnel.
  • Minimum of 5 years product management and/or marketing experience with a track record of launching new products and/or indications.
  • Must be a strong leadership with the ability to motivate and persuade others.
  • Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a variety of audiences ranging from patients to health care professionals as well as interal company personnel.
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision making
  • Experience working with key opinion leaders in the Interventional Oncology, Radiology and Vascular surgery space ideal.
  • Must demonstrate proactivness, decision making confidence and a sense of urgency and resourcefulness.
  • Must demonstrate initiative, a sense of urgency and resourcefulness.
