Marketing Intern (Seo) – Remote

Looking for a motivated marketing or business administration student that’s eager to learn about digital marketing from leading experts in a digitally native company that provides marketing services for businesses all across the country.

Our team is looking for a Marketing Intern to join them in the upcoming weeks. This position is great for an aspiring marketing professional looking to work on business-critical projects and gain relevant work experience.

Internship Goal:
Accelerate our SEO program by contributing to our global efforts through content and technical strategy development. You will collaborate with and synthesize feedback from the SEO Specialist and other team members to ensure consistency in SEO integration, execution, and analysis.

Your Deliverables:
Learn and perform on-page SEO tasks such as keyword research analysis for effective website content strategy and recommendations

Learn technical SEO and ensure that the website meets the requirements of modern search engines

Proactively keep pace with SEO trends and developments

The Experience:
The right intern will take away knowledge of technical and content optimization techniques and how to improve search visibility and increase keyword rankings. They will collaborate with stakeholders in marketing, product, and web operations teams.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will be a fast learner, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with an interest in digital marketing and Search Engine Optimization.

Other highly valued skills include:
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, web development, or related field
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills

Must have access to a laptop or desktop PC/Mac
Google Business Suite (docs, sheets, slides, forms, etc.)
3.0 GPA or Better
Strong communication skills with the ability to discuss any issues with a wide variety of individuals and groups
Capability to produce content on time, with attention to detail, and an emphasis on identifying and pitching to a target audience
A well-organized team player with the ability to perform various tasks, act individually, and think creatively
Familiarity with Microsoft applications and Zoom
Willingness to learn and develop marketing skills
Competitive and proactive attitude

Preferred:
Coursework and/or practical experience in marketing

Experience communicating across diverse and cross-functional teams

We will be conducting interviews from January 1st to January 20th and reaching a decision by January 30th.

Interviews will be held via Zoom.
