GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The SEO Specialist will utilize various search engine optimization techniques to boost the visibility and engagement of Tremco CPG brands, products, services and content. This position is responsible for overseeing all search engine optimization (SEO) activities related to content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on major search networks like Google and Bing. The SEO Specialist will aim to increase inbound organic traffic by using on-page and off-page techniques, meta data, site speed optimization, information architecture and other relevant methods.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Update older content with SEO best practices and add effective calls to action (CTAs) to improve user engagement
• Work closely with the Digital Marketing Analyst to monitor website performance and develop opportunities for increasing organic traffic
• Implement link building strategies and manage backlinks to build online authority
• Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
• Work with the content marketing team to drive SEO and give overall direction in content creation
• Develop an overall SEO strategy and goals for the Tremco CPG brands that increases the company’s search engine results rankings
• Work with the web development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented related to technical SEO requirements
• Report on performance metrics, comparing them to Tremco CPG’s SEO goals and benchmarking data
• Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps in content or areas of improvement for the Tremco CPG websites
• Follow SEO trends and stay current with new tools, techniques, and algorithm changes (Google & Bing)

EDUCATION

• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience SEO strategy development and implementation
• BS degree in a related field

EXPERIENCE. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and Google Trends)
• Google Search Console experience required
• Expertise using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or other comparable tools
• HTML, Javascript, CSS and PHP
• Google Analytics
• Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
• B2B experience preferred
• Search generative experience (SGE) and understanding & managing Bing webmaster tools
• Interest and ability to work with content of a technical nature and understand the needs of a technical audience

• Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:

• The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $64,499 and $80,625. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
